Semrush Free Plan vs. Free Trial: What’s the Difference?
These two are often confused, and the difference matters quite a bit.
The free plan is a permanent option that requires no credit card. It gives you very limited access to Semrush’s tools with daily request caps. You can create an account right now and use it indefinitely, but you will hit the wall quickly.
The free trial gives you full access to a paid plan’s features for 7 days (and 14 days if you access through the partner link). You do need to add a credit card, but you will not be charged if you cancel before the trial ends.
For anyone seriously evaluating Semrush, the free trial is the far better option. The free plan is more of a permanent preview that lets you see the interface, but you cannot run a real SEO campaign on it.
